Ingredients

  • 2.25 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    egg substitute
  • 1/2 c
    whipped topping
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 6 c
    chocolate ice cream
  • ·
    sliced strawberries

How to Make Belgian Waffle

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat waffle iron.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Stir in milk, egg and vanilla just until blended.
  4. Pour 3/4 cup batter into waffle iron and bake according to manufacturer's directions.
  5. Remove waffle from waffle iron.
  6. Scoop 1/2 cup ice cream onto waffle and top with 2 teaspoons whipped topping.
  7. Add strawberries if desired.
  8. Repeat with remaining batter.
