This goes great with soup on a cool fall evening.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self rising flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 12 ounces beer
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

How To Make beer bread

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375.
  • Step 2
    Butter a loaf pan and set aside.
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar and beer. Mix well. Mix will be sticky.
  • Step 4
    Pour into loaf pan and bake for 55 min.
  • Step 5
    During last 3 minutes of baking, remove from oven and brush the top of the loaf with butter. Return to oven and finish baking.
