bay's legit cornbread
What can I say, I like cornbread... I've made it many different ways over the years, but this is my go to recipe. It's quick. Easy. The kids inhale it. Hope you like it as much as we do!

Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 - eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 can creamed corn
- 2 tablespoons butter
How To Make bay's legit cornbread

Step 1Heat #8 cast iron skillet in 400° oven

Step 2Whisk all dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl

Step 3Add all else and whisk into batter

Step 4Remove heated skillet, melt butter in the heated cast iron, pour batter into skillet and cook for 15 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean
