I made this for my family and they loved it. It is very moist and very good. I made 1 loaf and 6 jumbo muffins.

  • 1 c
    butter or margarine
  • 1 c
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 4
  • 6 or 7
    ripe banana's mashed
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    quick cooking oatmeal
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts

How to Make Banana Nut Bread


  1. preheat oven to 325.
  2. Blend butter and sugars until smooth. Add eggs one at a time until well blended. Add all dry ingredients and mix well. fold in mashed bananas and nuts
  3. Bake for 1 hour, 30 mins.
  4. Makes 2 loaves or 12 jumbo muffins
