these taste just like a beignet. when you make em just dont make em to thick or they will be doughy on the inside but good with powdered sugar on em.

2 Tbsp
milk
2 large
eggs
1 Tbsp
margarine(melted)
1 c
all purpose flour
3 Tbsp
white sugar
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
cinnamon, ground
pinch
nutmeg
1 qt
oil (for frying)
1 c
confectioners sugar (for dusting)

How to Make banana fritters

Step-by-Step

  • 11.In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Mix in milk, eggs and margarine until smooth. In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir dry ingredients into banana mixture.
    2.Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy bottomed pan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil, and cook, turning once, until browned, 2 to 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels and dust with confectioners' sugar.
