these taste just like a beignet. when you make em just dont make em to thick or they will be doughy on the inside but good with powdered sugar on em.

Ingredients For banana fritters

  • 2 lg
    bananas(mashed)
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    margarine(melted)
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp
    white sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • pinch
    nutmeg
  • 1 qt
    oil (for frying)
  • 1 c
    confectioners sugar (for dusting)

How To Make banana fritters

    1.In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Mix in milk, eggs and margarine until smooth. In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir dry ingredients into banana mixture. 2.Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy bottomed pan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil, and cook, turning once, until browned, 2 to 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels and dust with confectioners' sugar.
