I got this recipe from my mom witch she got from her mother she has added some things to it through the years and it's very good.I love to make it and have with homemade chili or its good with just a nice side salad.

Ingredients For arkansas razorback cornbread

1 stickjimmy dean light sausage

2 cmartha white corn meal or you can use yellow

1/2 call purpose flour

3 tspbaking powder

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt

2eggs beaten
-
1 canortega green chillies
-
1 mdonion chopped
-
1 canmexicorn 11 0z

2 cbuttermilk
-
1 stickshredded cheddar cheese 8 oz
How To Make arkansas razorback cornbread

1Mix ingreidents to make cornbread.Cornmeal,flour,baking powder,baking soda,salt,eggs and buttermilk.

2cook sausage till done make sure its crumbled like hamburger meat.Add to wet cornbread mix.

3Add chillies,mexicorn,onion,and cheese to that and stir all together.

4Pour mixture into a 10 inch pan or iron skillet and bake at 350 f for 20 to 25 mins or until brown on top and done.
