apple cranberry stroudel

My Grandparents and father are from Austria. They mastered the art of making stroudel. My fater was a wonderful cook and taught me how to cook german and austria food. Stroudel was one of my fathers favorite. He made stroudel from everything including cheese,appples and prumes. So I wanted to share this receipe with you.

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup oil
- 4 teaspoons butter, room temperature
- 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 pounds apples
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup powered sugar
How To Make apple cranberry stroudel

Step 1Peel and thinly slice apples, pace in a bowl add lemon juice, sugars, cinnamon, and cranberries. Set aside.

Step 2Mix flour a pinch of salt,oil and stir into a ball, kned and pound out flat. Roll out with rolling pen in rectangle the size of jelly roll sheet or cookie sheet. Spread out furit mixture one end of dough, the roll dough to cover mix, spread out another roll of furit mix then roll again with dough continue until reach top end of dough. Cut slits in top of doungh with sharp knife. Place on greesed cookie sheet with seam down. Brush with melted butter bake in 400 degree oven bake about 35 to 45 min until lightly brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm.
