How to Make Amish Soft Pretzels
- Dissolve yeast in warm water(105 degrees-115 degrees).Add salt and flour.
- Knead till smooth.
- Cover with cloth and let rise 15 minutes.
- Divide dough into 16 parts.
- Roll each piece into narrow rolls and shape into a pretzel.
- Mix 1/2 cup water and 2 teaspoon soda.
- Dip each pretzel into soda solution and sprinkle with salt.
- Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 450 degrees for 15-20 minutes till golden brown.
