    9 x 13 pan with baked cornbread of your choice
  • ·
    1 tbsp thyme
  • ·
    2 cups chicken broth
  • ·
    1 tbsp celery seeds
  • ·
    1 tsp salt
  • ·
    1 each chopped medium onion, and 1 small bell pepper
  • ·
    1 egg
  • ·
    1/4 stick butter
  • ·
    2 tbsp poultry seasoning
  • ·
    1/2 cup turkey or chicken broth
  • ·
    ground black pepper to taste

How to Make 1889 cornbread dressing


  1. Crumble up cornbread, add all ingredients beat in egg and diced butter, add chicken broth ( should be loose) if more is needed add turkey broth. bake 45 minutes. Let cool and stuff turkey. Bake 375 degrees. Enjoy!
