  • 3 Tbsp
    ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 c
    oatmeal
  • 2 Tbsp
    wheat germ
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp
    clove, ground
  • 1/2 c
    sultana (yellow raisins)
  • WET INGREDIENTS
  • 2 Tbsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    molasses
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice, fresh
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    whole milk
  • MISCELLANEOUS
  • sugar for sprinkling

How To Make sugar-crusted sultana & spice oatmeal muffins

    Preheat oven to 375F.

    Add all dry ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix well with a fork.

    Add all wet ingredients. Then mix well.

    Use cupcake liners or grease muffin pan. Spoon batter 3/4 full.

    Sprinkle with sugar before placing in oven. Do not stir.

    Bake until a toothpick comes out clean.
