Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 5 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup thick strawberry jam
  • GLAZE
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk, or more as needed

How To Make strawberry rolls

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375. Spray 4 muffin cups with nonstick spray.
  • Step 2
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda in medium bowl.
  • Step 3
    Whisk together, milk, vinegar and melted butter.
  • Step 4
    Add the wet ingredients to the dry, stir until soft dough forms.
  • Step 5
    On floured surface roll dough into rectangle 10" by 6". Spread the jam over the entire surface.
  • Step 6
    Carefully, roll the dough, starting with the short side.
  • Step 7
    Cut the dough into 4 equal pieces, drop in muffin cups.
  • Step 8
    Bake 12 - 15 minutes.
  • Step 9
    Stir together milk and powdered sugar.
  • Step 10
    Frost the roll after cooling slightly.
