These are great to take to a Bible Study Class or afternoon meeting. They are fluffy and fruity and you can not stop at one. I have had raves on these beauties.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4+3Tbls cup bran flakes
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 - unpeeled navel oranges, cut into eighths
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted

How To Make orange muffins

  • Step 1
    COMBINE THE FLOUR, BRAN, SUGAR, BAKING SODA, BAKING POWDER, CINNAMON, & RAISINS IN A BOWL AND MIX WELL. PUREE THE ORANGE PIECES AND ORANGE JUICE. ADD THE MOLASSES, EGG & MARGARINE & BLEND UNTIL WELL MIXED. ADD TO THE DRY INGREDIENTS & STIR JUST UNTIL MIXED. SPOON INTO GREASED MUFFIN CUPS. BAKE AT 425 *15 MIN OR TOOTH PICK INSERTED INTO MUFFIN TEST DONE COOL IN PAN 10 MIN MOVE TO WIRE RACK TO COOL COMPLETELY OR EAT WARM
