Ingredients For lowfat blueberry peach muffin

  • 1 c
    all purpose flour (if u want them denser, use cake flour instead)
  • 1 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 2/3 c
    torbinado sugar (u can use white if you prefer)
  • 2 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1 c
    skim milk
  • 1/2 c
    applesauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 2
    egg whites
  • 1 c
    frozen blueberries
  • 1 c
    dried peaches, cut
  • TOPPING
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon, ground

How To Make lowfat blueberry peach muffin

    While preheating your oven to 400 degrees, sift flours, sugar, baking powder, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.

    In separate bowl, mix milk, applesauce, oil and eggwhites.

    Mix the wet ingredients into the dry, stirring til just blended. Stir the fruit into the blend and pour into muffin tins. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of topping onto each muffin and bake for 20 mins.
