How to Make Healthy Black Strap Molasses Muffins

Step-by-Step

  • 1Line a muffin pan with 12 paper liners, and preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • 2Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg in a large bowl and mix with a wire whisk.
  • 3Stir the eggs, molasses, apple, carrot, walnuts, and oil together in a medium bowl, then pour into the flour mixture.
    Stir gently with a wooden spoon until mixed, then divide among muffin tins and bake for about 17 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of a muffin comes out clean.
  • 4Cool on a wire rack.
  • 5I usually make smaller muffins and make 18 using my silicone bakeware. It is your choice.
