How To Make english muffin minipizza treats
-
Step 1As a quick and easy, prepared grated cheese may be used. The quantities can be changed to accommodate the number of people to be served. Completely baked muffin treats may be frozen and reheated at a later date. Children will even eat at room temperature.
-
Step 2In a large bowl combine the grated cheese, the diced onion and chopped black olives. Mix together using mayonaise to bind ingredients together.
-
Step 3Prepare a foil-lined cookie sheet and spoon mixture onto halves of sour dough English muffins. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until cheese is melted (varies by oven). Remove from oven, cool a little to facilitate removal of the mini-pizza onto a plate or in the case of children, a cutting board and cut into small wedges. Also makes a great adult appetizer.
-
Step 4If someone does not like cheddar cheese, other cheeses such as swiss or velveeta work well for this snack.
