corn meal
1/2 c
1 c
2 medium
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 c
butter, room temperature
1 c
all purpose flour
1/3 c
cake flour
1 tsp
2 1/2 Tbsp
baking powder

How to Make Corn bread


  • 1Set Oven to 350.
    Cream Butter and add sugar.
  • 2Mix corn meal, milk, eggs and vanilla together in a bowl. Sift Flours, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl
  • 3Add dry ingredients to the creamed butter mixture alternately with wet mixture in thirds till just blended. Spoon into foil cupcake cups. You can also butter a 8in square pan. bake for 30 min in cupcake form and 45 min in pan form.
  • 4High Altitudes you may want to add an extra egg and bake at 400.
