Ingredients
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup yellow corn meal
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cheese (vleveeta)
- 2 tablespoons soften butter
How To Make cheese poke muffins

Step 1In a large bowl combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Step 2In a med. bowl whisk the egg, milk, and oil. stir into the dry ingredients just until moistened.

Step 3greas and flour 8 muffin cups to 1/4 full. combine the cheese and butter, spoon over the batter. top with the remaining batter.

Step 4bake at 400 for 15-18 minutes. or until toothpick comes out clean. cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. serve warm
