  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c
    applesauce, unsweetened
  • 1/2-1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon

How to Make Breakfast Banana Muffins

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease or line 12 muffin cups.
  2. Mash bananas and combine with eggs, applesauce, and vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients. Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture.
  3. Pour the batter into muffin cups till it almost reaches the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
