banana orange bread/muffins

This recipe is from a cookbook my mother put together for our church when I was 9 or 10. These recipes are from all the old grannies that my mother grew up with, so you know they're good! This sounds amazing, so I just had to share it. I'll definitely be making this for breakfast muffins. Enjoy! **This recipe comes from Barbara Martin.**

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil (or substitute applesauce, like i do)
- 3 - ripe bananas, mashed (1 1/2 c.)
- 1/4 cup orange marmalade
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup unprocessed wheat bran
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup flaked coconut
How To Make banana orange bread/muffins

Step 1In mixing bowl, combine sugar and oil. Add bananas, marmalade and eggs; blend well. In separate bowl, mix flours, bran, baking soda and salt together. Stir flour mixture into banana mixture. Stir in pecans and coconut. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-50 min., or until done. If making muffins, cook for 20-25 min., or until done.
