Banana Buttermilk Nutella Muffins
Ingredients

1 call purpose flour

1 cwhole wheat flour

1/2 cquick cooking rolled oats

2 tspbaking poweder

1 tspbaking soda

4over ripe bananas mashed

2 largeeggs

1/2 cgranulated sugar or splenda or a quarter cup of each which is what i did

1/2 cunsweetened apple sauce
-
1/2 cbuttermilk
-
1 tspvanilla extract
-
3/4 cnutella
How to Make Banana Buttermilk Nutella Muffins
- Preheat oven to 350F (180 C)
Pray muffin pan with spray (I used wrappers and they really stuck so you might want to spray them if you use them. - In a large bowl combine flour, oats, baking powder and baking soda
- In another bowl, wisk together bananas, eggs, sugar/splenda, applesauce, buttermilk and vanilla. Pour over dry ingredients and stir until just combined
- Spoon into prepared muffin pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes in pan then move to rack to cool completely
- spread each muffin with 1 tablespoon of Nutella. (For this step I just cut it open and scooped in a little nutella and then squeezed the sides back together.
