Apple Cinnamon Muffins

These are quick and easy to make.
These were Margaret's favorite muffin and she would bring them often to any family gathering.
The recipe is Margaret's but the photo is from KraftFoods.com
Ingredients

1 1/4 call purpose flour
-
1 1/2 tspbaking powder

1 tspcinnamon
-
1/2 tspcloves
-
1/2 tspbaking soda
-
1 pinchof salt
-
2 Tbspbrown sugar or stevia brown sugar

1 cunsweetened applesauce
-
1 largeegg, slightly beaten
-
1/2 clow fat milk
-
1 Tbspvegetable oil
-
1/3 craisins
-
3 Tbspminced almonds or other nuts

·1 tablespoon stevia sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon to sprinkle on top , if desired
How to Make Apple Cinnamon Muffins
- Combine the dry ingredients. (first 7 ingredients)
Combine the wet ingredients in a bowl.
Add the dry and wet together just until moistened.
Spray muffin tins with vegetable oil and divide the batter evenly among the cups.
Top with the cinnamon/sugar mix , if desired.
Bake at 400^ for 15-20 minutes.
128 calories/ 2.5 grams fat per muffin.
