This is another recipe from Margaret M.- my sister's mother-in- law. These are quick and easy to make. These were Margaret's favorite muffin and she would bring them often to any family gathering. The recipe is Margaret's but the photo is from KraftFoods.com

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar or stevia brown sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 large egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup low fat milk
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 3 tablespoons minced almonds or other nuts
- - 1 tablespoon stevia sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon to sprinkle on top , if desired

Step 1Combine the dry ingredients. (first 7 ingredients) Combine the wet ingredients in a bowl. Add the dry and wet together just until moistened. Spray muffin tins with vegetable oil and divide the batter evenly among the cups. Top with the cinnamon/sugar mix , if desired. Bake at 400^ for 15-20 minutes. 128 calories/ 2.5 grams fat per muffin.
