Ingredients For apple bran muffins

  • 3/4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    bran cereal
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    peeled, grated apple
  • 1
    egg
  • 3 Tbsp
    vegetable oil

How To Make apple bran muffins

    Preheat over to 400°.

    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; set aside.

    Stir together bran cereal and milk; let stand 5 minutes. Add apple, egg and oil, beating until well blended.

    Add flour mixture, stirring just until combined; DO NOT overmix.

    Fill standard size muffin prepared muffin cups 2/3 full.

    Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until done.
