flour
1 dash(es)
salt
1 tsp
baking powder
warm water to make dough

How to Make Navajo Fry Bread

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix ingredients together to make a nice soft dough, should not be sticky.
  • 2Knead for 10 minutes and let set about half an hour covered with a dish towel.
  • 3Then roll out or form into 4-6 inch circles and drop into hot oil until a nice golden brown on both sides.
