We use this for Navajo Tacos or even just as a side bread to go with meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • - warm water to make dough

How To Make navajo fry bread

  • Step 1
    Mix ingredients together to make a nice soft dough, should not be sticky.
  • Step 2
    Knead for 10 minutes and let set about half an hour covered with a dish towel.
  • Step 3
    Then roll out or form into 4-6 inch circles and drop into hot oil until a nice golden brown on both sides.
