This was on the back of a Bisquick box a long time ago. Another JAP member still had it and shared it with me. It is good with soup, chili or Italian food.

Ingredients
- 2 cups bisquick (heart healthy is ok to use)
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or minced garlic from a jar
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted or olive oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons sunflower kernels
How To Make hearth bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix Bisquick, water and garlic to form a soft dough. Pat into a ten inch circle on round baking stone or cookie sheet.

Step 2Brush with either butter, margarine or olive oil. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sunflower kernels pressing them lightly into the dough.

Step 3Bake until golden brown 15 to 20 minutes. Cut into 12 wedges.

Step 4Note for variations. Beer can be substituted for the cold water. Substitute with your favorite seeds, like poppy seeds, or finely chopped mixed nuts.
