1/4 c
oil
1
egg
1 1/2 c
buttermilk
3 Tbsp
sugar
1/2 c
chopped green onions
1 Tbsp
grated lemon zest and juice combined
3 c
flour
4 tsp
baking powder
4 oz
crumbled feta cheese
2 Tbsp
oil
2 Tbsp
sesame seeds
2 Tbsp
grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Greek Flatbread

Step-by-Step

  • 1Beat together the first 8 ingredients (oil through baking powder) until blended, about 45 seconds. Do no overbeat. Stir in the feta cheese.
  • 2In a 12-inch round baker, add 2 tbsp. oil and spread batter eveningly in pan. Brush top with a little oil that collects on the sides. Sprinkle top with sesame seeds and grated parmesan cheese.
  • 3Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until top is golden brown. Allow to cool in pan. Serve warm or at room temperature. Cut into wedges.
