Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest and juice combined
  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 ounces crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

How To Make greek flatbread

  • Step 1
    Beat together the first 8 ingredients (oil through baking powder) until blended, about 45 seconds. Do no overbeat. Stir in the feta cheese.
  • Step 2
    In a 12-inch round baker, add 2 tbsp. oil and spread batter eveningly in pan. Brush top with a little oil that collects on the sides. Sprinkle top with sesame seeds and grated parmesan cheese.
  • Step 3
    Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until top is golden brown. Allow to cool in pan. Serve warm or at room temperature. Cut into wedges.
