I know that there are may versions of beer bread out there so I thought I would post my version to add to the group. This is such an easy recipe and tastes like you worked for hours. It's light and moist and can be a base recipe for many delicious varieties of bread. Just by adding different ingredients such as jalapenos, onions, sliced olives, cheese or different herbs or seasonings and you can create your own version.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups baking mix (such as bisquick)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 12 ounces beer (cold or room temp)
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

How To Make garlic beer bread

  • Step 1
Combine all dry ingredients together in bowl and mix well.
  • Step 2
Add beer (I used it cold, right from the fridge) and mix well with a wooden spoon. The dough will be “tacky” or “sticky”.
  • Step 3
Pour into a greased loaf pan or 2 qt round casserole dish.
  • Step 4
Brush melted butter over the top of the dough.
  • Step 5
Place immediately into a preheated 375 F deg oven and bake for 50 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
