I got the original recipe from a friend and then I made a few changes to make it my own.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Zucchini bread is one of our favorites in the summertime when zucchini is abundant. This old-fashioned, simple zucchini bread recipe has the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. It's tender and forms a lovely sugary crust on top. Add your favorite nut - we opted for walnuts. They add a nutty flavor and a bit of crunch. This is a great snack or to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee. The Test Kitchen
