This bread has always been a favorite of mine & my family loves it! This vanilla bread has a good flavor alone, but if you want to give it a little more umph!.. Why not make a nice glaze to go over it? All you need to do is get a small saucepan, add 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of water & 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Put on medium heat until it simmers then take off heat. When cooled, brush the glaze over the bread & enjoy! *Glaze will be thin*

Ingredients For sweet vanilla bread

  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1 1/4 c
  • 1 1/2 stick
  • 4
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make sweet vanilla bread

    Cream butter & sugar together.

    Then, add eggs & vanilla extract to the mixture. Stir well.

    Finally, stir in the flour & baking powder until mixture is completely smooth.

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    In a GREASED bread pan, pour the mixture in & bake for approx. 60-75 mins. (You can use a tooth pick or butter knife to determine readiness of bread)

    Leave bread in pan to cool for 10-15 mins then move to cooling rack or large plate. Let cool for at least another 5-10 mins. Enjoy!
