scrumptious cinnamon bread ~ cinnamon glaze
This is one easy quick bread, that your family will love. So easy, place the ingredients in a bowl, and mix...that simple. Every time I was volunteered to bring a bread to Church, this was the one most requested. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 cups unbleached, flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup buttermilk
- TOPPING
- 4 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 teaspoons butter, softened
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
- GLAZE ~ OPTIONAL
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 3 - 4 tablespoons milk or cream - or to desired consistency
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg ~ optional
How To Make scrumptious cinnamon bread ~ cinnamon glaze

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Spray a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with non stick cooking spray. ( I use bakers joy )

Step 2In a mixing bowl, add all bread ingredients and beat for 3 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.

Step 3Mix your topping, until crumbly.

Step 4Sprinkle topping evenly over batter and with a knife, swirl topping, to leave a marbled effect. Bake for 50 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.

Step 5Leave set a couple minutes, then remove bread from pan to a cooling rack.

Step 6If using glaze ~ Mix all ingredients together until smooth pouring consistency & frost, pour or drizzle over bread, after it's cooled.
