Cranberries and orange were meant to be together like peas and Seriously this is a great breakfast roll or a delicious sweet treat at a party.

  • 8 oz
    refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/4 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 large
  • 1/2 c
    dried cranberries
  • 1/3 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1 Tbsp
    orange zest
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    whipping cream

How to Make Orange-Cranberry Rolls


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cream together butter, egg, cream cheese, and almond extract.
  3. Spread out crescent rolls and seal perforations.
  4. Spread butter and cream cheese mixture onto crescent roll sheet.
  5. Sprinkle cranberries, chopped pecans, and orange zest on top of cream cheese mixture.
  6. Roll up crescent dough into a log. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. Cut roll into half inch circles and lay on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for about 8 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. While rolls are baking, combine powdered sugar and whipping cream. Spread or drizzle this on hot rolls when they come out the oven.
