How to Make Chocolate Oat Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Spray a 9x5 (Bread) loaf pan
  2. In a smaller bowl mix well together the flour, baking powder, salt and dry Hershey's baking chocolate powder. Set a side.
  3. In a large bowl beat together butter, sugar and eggs
    Then add the
oat pulp and ½ cup sour cream
    or
½ cup quick oats and ¾ cup sour cream

NOTE: do not add both. I used oat pulp.
  4. Now beat in the flour mixture on low speed until all is blended.

Pour Batter into pan and bake at 350 for 45-55 minutes, until done and a tooth pick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  5. Remove from pan, cool completely and dust with powdered sugar or glaze if desired. We served plain.
