banana nut bread
I got this recipe from my BFF's sister. Not sure where she got it, but it makes some of the best banana bread I've ever had!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 3 - ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
How To Make banana nut bread

Step 1Cream shortening; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy.

Step 2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Step 3Stir in banana mash and sour cream.

Step 4Combine flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture, mixing well.

Step 5Stir in nuts.

Step 6Spoon batter into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes.

Step 7Cool in pans for 5-10 minutes. Remove to wire wrack and cook completely.
