  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 c
  • 2
    eggs, room temp.
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3
    bananas, med size, mashed
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda

How to Make Banana Bread


  1. Pre heat oven to 325 degrees. Spray loaf pans with non stick spray.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl cream butter gradually adding the sugar and eggs one at a time.
  4. Add vanilla, mashed bananas and sour cream.
  5. Blend 1/3 of dry ingredients into the mashed banana mixture at a time. Put in bread pans and smooth tops with a spoon. Bake on center rack for 1 hr and 10 min.
