This is another recipe I am copying from a recipe card written by my grandmother. At the top is says "for Mary Ann". I remember such good times at her house visiting and having yummy things like this for coffee.

Ingredients
- - preheat oven to 325 and grease a 15 x 10 sheet cake pan.
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cans 8 oz. crushed pineapple
- 1 cup chopped nuts, your choice
- FROSTING
- 1 stick butter
- 1 package 8 oz. cream cheese
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make 2 by 2 bars

Step 1Place first 7 ingredients into a bowl of a mixer and mix well.

Step 2Blend in nuts.

Step 3Pour batter into prepared pan.

Step 4Bake at 325 for about 25 to 30 minutes until done.

Step 5Remove from oven and cool.

Step 6Mix frosting ingredients together and beat until smooth and fluffy. Frost cooled bars.

Step 7Cut into desired squares and serve.
