I'm an Independent Velata Consultant and I make many things with these amazing rubs. If you would like to know how to get some, get in contact with me! If you don't want to use the Velata Artisan Rubs, you can most definitely use any other seasoning that you love! ;)

Ingredients

  • 1 package dried instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 tablespoons margarine/butter
  • 1 tablespoon velata artisan rub

How To Make velata artisan rub bread

  • Step 1
Pour about 1/3 cup of the water into a tall glass or plastic cup; add the yeast and stir it with a fork until the yeast is dissolved; add the sugar and stir again. Let the yeast mixture sit until you’ve added the rest of the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  • Step 2
Combine the flour, Velata Artisan Rub, butter, yeast mixture, and the rest of the water all together until it makes a soft dough ball. Knead the ball for about 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
Grease a loaf pan and place the kneaded dough in the pan and press it until it fills the pan the way you like it. Let it rise for 45-60 minutes (until it doubles in size). Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees in the last 15 minutes of rising. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  • Step 4
Let the bread cool on a rack so it doesn’t get soggy with condensation (I learned that the hard way), then once it’s cool store it in a bag with a twist tie. This makes one loaf of bread.
