The bread is my son's favourite.
It is great for sandwiches, toast, and bread pudding.

How to Make Doug's Favourite Honey Nut Oatmeal Bread
- Put ingredients except walnuts in breadmaker according to the manufacturers instructions. This makes a 1 1/2 lb loaf. Use whole wheat setting.
- At the beep add the walnuts.
- After baking remove from pan and cool before slicing.
- Note:I usually use the dough cycle and form the bread into one medium loaf and a couple of little loaves. Let them rise until doubled in size (about 30 - 40 minutes). Then bake them in the oven at 375 degrees F. for 45 minutes for the larger loaf and 30 minutes for the little ones. I prefer to test them with an instant-read thermometer.
Internal temperature should be 200 degrees F.
