3 Tbsp
rum
1-1/2 c
flour
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 c
sugar

very ripe mashed bananas
1/4 c
melted butter
1
egg, beaten
2 Tbsp
milk
1/2 c
chocolate chips
1/4 c
walnuts

How to Make Festive Rum Raisin Chocolate Chip Banana Nut Bread

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine rum and raisins. Let stand 15 minutes; drain and reserve liquid.
  • 2Cool melted butter to room temperature.
  • 3Combine dry ingredients; set aside.
  • 4Combine sugar, bananas, butter, egg and milk; beat well.
    Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  • 5Stir in raisins, chocolate chips and nuts.
  • 6Bake at 350 degrees in a greased and floured loaf pan for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Poke holes in top of bread with a toothpick.
    Brush with reserved liquid.
