Ingredients
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 3 tablespoons rum
- 1-1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 - very ripe mashed bananas
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup walnuts
How To Make festive rum raisin chocolate chip banana nut bread

Step 1Combine rum and raisins. Let stand 15 minutes; drain and reserve liquid.

Step 2Cool melted butter to room temperature.

Step 3Combine dry ingredients; set aside.

Step 4Combine sugar, bananas, butter, egg and milk; beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture.

Step 5Stir in raisins, chocolate chips and nuts.

Step 6Bake at 350 degrees in a greased and floured loaf pan for 45 to 50 minutes. Poke holes in top of bread with a toothpick. Brush with reserved liquid.
