1 PKG. YEAST 1 TSP. SUGAR 1/4 C WARM WATER 1/2 C SUGAR 2 C QUICK OATMEAL 1 TSP. SALT 1/3 C MARGARINE 3 C ALL BRAN CEREAL 3 C HOT WATER 5 C WHITE FLOUR
How to Make Health Bread
- Place yeast, sugar and 1/4 cup warm water in bowl. In a separate large bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, oatmeal, salt, margarine and All Bran cereal. Add 3 cups hot water and stir well. When cool enough, add yeast mixture and 5 cups white flour. Knead well. Add more flour if needed.
Let rise and mix down twice. Place in two greased bread pans. Bake in 350 oven for 30 to 40 minutes until done
