My cousin Rhonda makes these to put ham and soup beans on top of! Very filling!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 - egg
  • - milk to make a thick batter

How To Make corn cakes

  • Step 1
    Mix all and fry like pancakes. Do NOT grease the griddle.
