Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons active dry yeast(2 packets)
- 2 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 box yellow or white cake mix
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter,softened
- 1 can cream cheese frosting
How To Make cake mix cinnamon rolls

Step 1In a small bowl mix yeast and warm water until dissolved and set aside.

Step 2Combine cake mix,salt and flour in bowl.Add yeast mixture and vanilla and stir well.May need to use hands.

Step 3Cover bowl tightly and let rise for one hour. Punch down and let rise for another 30-60 minutes.

Step 4Roll dough into a rectangle shape on a floured surface about 1/4 inch thick.Brush with softened butter.Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.

Step 5starting from the opposite end from your roll the dough toward you until all dough is rolled into one long roll. Slice into 24 equal sized pieces.

Step 6Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place rolls on greased cookie sheet and cover and let rise until doubled.I set the pan on the stovetop while it rises on the prheating oven.

Step 7Bake 15 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Frost them either when they are warm or cooled.
