almond cinnamon buns
I found this recipe in an magazine in the doctors office, looked so good I copied it down and tweaked it here and there to make it my own. I am always looking for new ideas.

Ingredients
- 1 cup almonds, slivered(finely chopped)
- 4 ounces almond paste(finaly mashed)
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 2 packages (8 oz.) cresent rolls
- - cooking spray
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond flavoring
- 1 teaspoon whole milk
How To Make almond cinnamon buns

Step 1In a bowl add almonds,almond paste,brown sugar and cinnamon stir to combine. Set aside.

Step 2using parchment paper unroll 1 pkg, crescent-roll dough smooth seams

Step 3evenly spread half the butter over dough and then sprinkle with half the almond mixture.Beginning on long side roll up tightly.Slice into 6 pieces.

Step 4Repeat with second pkg. of crescent dough.

Step 5Spray two 6 cavity muffin tins, place a roll in each cavity and bake at 375 degree until golden brown bout 15 min,

Step 6Remove from oven and let cool 20 minutes.

Step 7Ina small bowl mix confectioners sugar almond flavoring, and milk till smooth.

Step 8Remove rolls from muffin tins drizzle with icing. Serve immediately.
