~ holiday corn bread ~
This is a recipe belonging to my aunt, that I tweaked to my families liking. This bread is a wonderful accompaniment to Thanksgiving dinner. We like it slathered with honey butter or a drizzle of honey. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups ap flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon each - salt, cinnamon & nutmeg
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
- 2 - eggs
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 2 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup melted, butter
- 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 - 1 1/2 cups cranberries - floured lightly
How To Make ~ holiday corn bread ~

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease a 9 inch pie plate & set aside.

Step 2Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl.

Step 3In another bowl, mix the butter, pumpkin, sour cream, eggs, honey until blended well together. Toss cranberries in small amount of flour, just to lightly coat.

Step 4Mix the wet ingredients with the dry, just until all is blended. Fold in the cranberries and bake for 40 - 45 minutes or until pick comes out clean. Serve warm, with honey butter, just butter or as we like - a drizzle of honey...
