- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 - egg
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 2/3 cup wheat bran
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup coarsely chopped apple (with skin)
- 1/3 cup grated carrot
- 3 tablespoons chopped walnuts

Step 1Stir together buttermilk, water, eggs and honey in 2 cup measuring glass. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add liquids, along with remaining ingredients. Bake in muffin tins at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
