Makes 12-15 biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour or bread flour
- 1/2 cup self-rising buttermilk corn meal
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar
- 1 1/4 cups milk (buttermilk is great in this!)
How To Make cornmeal cheddar biscuits

Step 1In a bowl, combine dry ingredients.

Step 2Cut in butter until crumbly

Step 3Stir in cheese and milk.

Step 4Drop by serving spoon (about 1/4 cup) onto a sprayed baking sheet. Bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
