This sour dough recipe was gave to me by my sister Joann. She got it from an older lady that lived next door to her. The dough is easy to make, the time it takes for the dough to turn into sour dough is worth the wate.

Ingredients
- 2 packages active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 6 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups butter milk
- 3/4 cup oil
How To Make sour dough biscuits

Step 1Mix yeast, water, and sugar in a small bowl and set aside. In a small bowl mix buttrer milk, and oil, add this to the yeast mixture.

Step 2In a large bowl mix flour, salt, and baking powder, add the yeast mixture to the flour, and mix well.

Step 3Oil a large bowl, put the bread dough in and pat the dough with oil, place plastic wrap over the bowl and refrigerate for 2 days. This will turn the dough to a sour dough mixture.

Step 4Heat oven to 425 degrees. Roll dough out and cut into biscuits, place on a greased baking pan and bake for 10-12 minutes.
