For the Chili Head in me. These biscuits are very light but full of flavor, if you like cheese and a little kick, these are for you

yield about 18 biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sharp cheddar, grated
  • 1/4 cup mild cheddar, grated
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, fresh please
  • 2 tablespoons jalapeno peppers,diced fine

How To Make soooo good, iris's hot cheese biscuits

  • Step 1
    In medium bowl add the biscuit mix. In separate bowl. whisk the egg into the milk. When combined whish in butter and pour it over the biscuit mix Stirring with a fork to make a soft batter.
  • Step 2
    Add the cheeses and jalapenos stirring to gently distribute. Drop the mixture by the tablespoonful onto a nonstick cookie sheet allowing an inch between each biscuit.
  • Step 3
    Put into oven and bake about 14 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot!!
