This is yet another of the recipes taken from old recipe cards that were given to my mum when she married in 1942. This one presumes / assumes you would know what oven temp to use and how long to bake them. So the baking time I have shown is just a guess. "Top milk" would be 3.5% milk or close to light cream. I'm old enough to remember when milk was delivered in glass bottles that had a little bulbous shape at the top where this richer milk gathered.

Ingredients
- 2 cups tea bisk
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup top milk
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup mixed peel (optional)
