Ingredients

  • 1 pound bulk sausage ( i use jimmy dean hot )
  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup coconut flour - i don’t see why almond flour wouldn’t work...i will try that next and update how they turned out
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup fresh shredded cheddar cheese. i always shred my own from a block of cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

How To Make ~ sausage cheddar biscuits ~ low carb

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray baking sheet with olive or avocado oil or line with parchment paper. Gather ingredients. Sausage is in skillet browning. LOL
  • Step 2
    Brown and crumble sausage until cooked through in med skillet over medium heat, stirring often. Drain sausage in colander over a bowl.
  • Step 3
    Add sausage to a med bowl and cool for toughly 5 min. Add cream cheese, eggs, flour, cheese and baking powder. I use my hands to mix thoroughly.
  • Step 4
    Measure out 1/4 cup of biscuit mixture and roll into ball in hands. Drop onto prepared sheet.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 40 minutes or until golden. Enjoy warm or cold. Freeze well too! Per biscuit - 2g Net Carbs  3g Total Carbs  1g Fiber  16g Fat  9g Protein 196 Calories
