This recipe is definitely not on Weight Watchers' list of foods allowed, but it still rates high on our family's list of good eats. My Mama fixed this whenever there were leftover homemade biscuits. We had a cow so fresh cream on top was a must!

Ingredients
- 6 - leftover biscuits
- 1 cup cane or sorghum syrup
- 4 tablespoons butter or oleo (i prefer parkay)
- - heavy cream
How To Make monkey dumplings

Step 1In a heavy iron skillet, heat syrup to boiling. While it's heating slice biscuits open and butter each half generously.

Step 2Slap the buttered side down into the boiling syrup. Flip each half quickly to coat both sides.

Step 3Transfer to plates and pour heavy cream over each half. Enjoy...and then REPENT! ;)
