I decided because we have biscuits so often for dinner that I would make my batter in a loaf pan. It really slices well and tastes great with a pat of butter.

Ingredients For loaf biscuit bread

  • 2 1/3 c
    martha white self-rising flour (hotrise )
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 1/4 c
    bulgarian buttermilk
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil (for bread)
  • 1/3 c
    vegetable oil (for loaf pan)

How To Make loaf biscuit bread

  • 1
    Mix flour , salt and sugar. Make a well in center . Add buttermilk and oil... stir until blended well. Turn out onto a floured surface and shape into loaf style .Move to a large loaf pan that has about 1/3 cup of oil in bottom. Cook for about 35 to 45 minutes or until center is not sticky. Let cool for a little before slicing.
